Paula L. Billups, Principal Consultant
With over seventeen years of combined experience
in Information Technology services and training delivery, Paula L. Billups works with organizations to shape their educational vision and strategic direction
through technology-enhanced training and professional development.
Prior to founding Educare in 2002, Paula worked as
a Manager for Accenture, Ltd, the world's largest management and technology consulting company and as a Senior
Consultant for Cap Gemini\Ernst & Young. Paula has extensive experience in the Information Systems field where she
has assisted global Fortune 100 organizations in leveraging Information Technology to achieve strategic business results.
Paula's professional affiliations include the American
Society of Training and Development (ASTD), Georgia Alliance for Workforce Development(GAWD), Global Exec Women (GEW), National
Black MBA Association (NBMBAA), and the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG). Paula also serves on the Board of Directors
for Communities in Schools of Marietta and Cobb Counties (CISMCC), the nation's leading community-based organization helping
kids stay in school and prepare for life.
To
validate and expand her own expertise in education, business, and technology, Paula serves as Associate Faculty
for the University of Phoenix-Online degree program and at their Atlanta campus. She facilitates graduate courses in
the College of Graduate Business Administration and the College of Information Systems and Technology.
A St. Louis, Missouri native, Paula holds a M.S degree in Business Administration from Southern
Illinois University at Edwardsville(SIUE), a B.S. degree in Computer Science from the University of Missouri - Rolla
(UMR), and a Certificate in Instructional Design from the University of Georgia(UGA).
Paula was recently selected for inclusion in the 2005 edition of "Who's Who in Black Atlanta"
for her achievements as an entrepreneur and potential for continued success.
